Principles Events

First year competitors are allowed to participate in the "principle" categories. These competitions are exclusively for first year members and can choose to specialize in Business Management & Administration, Hospitality & Tourism, Finance, or Marketing. Scores for Principles are based off of a 100 question multiple choice test and one "role-play" so students can experience being in their specialized field.

Series

Series are open to all competitors to compete in by themselves. Like principles, students chose a specialty, such as Sports & Entertainment, Restaurant & Food Service Management, or Retail Merchandising. Then they take the same 100 question test, but they have two role plays as opposed to one. Team Series are also available for those who want to take the test and complete the two role plays with a partner.

Written Events and Projects

Project Events are available to individuals and groups who wish to focus more on a long-term written project. Some of these projects do not require tests, and most require a 5-30 page report that is presented for 15 minutes at competition.
